Skincare

I’ve always been pretty vain when it comes to my skin. I was the person who would immediately head to the dermatologist if I got one zit. Skincare is one of my favorite things because it’s the one part of my day that feels like it’s just for me. Between work emails, carpools, and never-ending laundry, those five quiet minutes with a serum and moisturizer feel downright luxurious. It’s not about vanity—it’s about feeling refreshed, cared for, and like a human again… and, yes… I am trying to keep the wrinkles and frown lines at bay as long as possible. Plus, nothing says “I have my life together” like actually washing your face before bed. I usually wash mine as soon as I get home for the night and change into my loungewear just so I can keep adding another satisfying and soothing layer every time I walk past my vanity. Skincare is my tiny act of self-care in a world that rarely slows down for moms.
